Thanks for your participation in our 2024 Fall Cleanup!
Year-Round Options for Yard and Garden Debris Disposal:
- Up to two bundles, compostable bags, or open containers can be placed curbside during bi-weekly cart collection. The only exception to this is during the collection suspension for yard and garden debris, which happens approximately one month prior to the first Cleanup week in both May and November.
- Waste Watch Drop-Off Centers also accept yard material year-round. Disposal fees apply (minimum of $5 and a maximum of $30 per load for residents.)
Accepted Materials:
- Grass clippings
- Leaves
- Branches, twigs, brush
- Compostable and organic materials such as cornstalks and bales of straw
Acceptable Containers:
- Compostable paper bags
- Compostable bags with BPI or BNQ certification logos
- Rigid containers
- Bundled and tied together
Helpful Tips:
- Yard debris in non-compostable plastic bags or corrugated cardboard boxes will NOT be accepted.
- Be sure to bundle and tie similar items, such as twigs and branches. Each item (or bundle) must not exceed 50 lbs in weight and 4ft in any dimension.
