Attention sheep farmers! Sheep wool goes into WASTE. While it is organic and will break down over time, the process at the Central Composting Facility is not designed for wool. Do not place in the compost cart or in commercial compost dumpsters. Surf the internet for eco-friendly alternatives such as using sheep wool for weed barriers in gardens or around trees/shrubs, as mulch, and even as a deterrent for slugs and other pests.
Face masks & wipes belong in WASTE (even if the package indicates they are 'flushable')!
