Environmental Industrial Services Inc. (EISI) operates water and wastewater systems across Prince Edward Island for many public and private entities. EISI’s certified professional water and wastewater operators work on site at client facilities to meet Federal and Provincial regulations and the terms of existing development and/or operating agreements.
The successful candidate will work with the EISI team of operators, to ensure the safety of water and wastewater and the protection of the environment at facilities across PEI. This position is for the operator role for Western operations, however the operator will support other EISI operations (across PEI).
EISI Water and Wastewater Operator Job Description and Application Details
Hours: 75 hours bi-weekly.
Salary: As operators develop and obtain higher level certification/license, they will be eligible for additional compensation as outlined in the schedule below.
- $23.51-$25.50 per hour – Operator in Training
$26.68-$30.31 per hour – Level 1 Operator
$30.84-$36.69 per hour – Level 2 Operator
This position also offers health benefits (medical and dental) and a retirement plan.
