Did you know that an electronic cigarette consists of an atomizer, a power source such as a battery, and a container such as a cartridge or tank. Some of these components are harmful to the environment if not disposed of properly.
These devices are considered Household Hazardous Waste and must be taken to a WWDC for disposal (no charge) – this includes vape devices for both nicotine and cannabis, as well as e-cigarettes.
Businesses must contract with a hazardous waste carrier to dispose of vape pens and e-cigs.
